This year marks 1700 years since March 6, 326, the day on which the Holy Empress Helen, mother of Constantine the Great, after much research, found on the hill of Golgotha, in Jerusalem, the Holy Cross of Christ, where it had been thrown 300 years ago by the Romans, who had covered it with stones and earth but also built a pagan temple there so that the place of the crucifixion of the God-man, our Lord Jesus Christ, would be forgotten!

Since then and for 17 centuries until today the spot where the Holy Cross was located is a place of worship, within the Church of the Resurrection!  For 17 centuries now the Holy Cross has been the guardian of the world, the beauty of the Church, the strength of the Leaders of the people, the support of the faithful, the glory of the Angels and the wound of the demons!

For 17 centuries the Holy Cross has been saving us with the power of God, because like a fountain abundant power and Divine grace flows from Him! We believers wear our Holy Cross and are sanctified, we make the sign of the Cross and are guarded, we look at the Cross and feel how much God loves us!
