Prayer is the guardian of sobriety; it curbs anger, suppresses pride, cleanses from resentment, drives away envy, abolishes injustice, and corrects impiety.
Prayer is the strength of bodies; it brings joy to the
home, grants favor to the city, provides strength to authority, gives victory
during war, ensures peace, reunites the separated, and maintains the united in
place.
Prayer is the seal of virginity, the fidelity of
marriage, a weapon for travelers, a guardian of those who sleep, courage for
those who are awake, it brings euphoria to farmers, and it grants salvation to
sailors.
