“When the housewife puts a cake in the oven, she does not take it out until she is sure that it is baked. The Master of the universe has put you in an oven and is keeping you there until you are baked. So be patient and wait. You will not stay in the oven a minute longer than necessary. As soon as you are ready, the Lord will take you out. But if you throw yourself out, you will be like the half-baked cake. I must also tell you that, according to our faith, whoever endures difficulties without complaint, believing that God grants them for his good, is equal to the martyrs. Always remember this, so that you may be comforted.”
